Plansee announces changes to its Executive Board as Bernhard Schretter retires

Plansee Group, Reutte, Austria, has announced that Dr Wolfgang Köck will become a member of the Executive Board of Plansee Holding AG effective July 1, 2020, as Bernhard Schretter enters retirement at the end of June. Karlheinz Wex, who has been a member of the Executive Board for nineteen years will assume the role of Spokesman.

Dr Köck has worked for the Plansee High Performance Materials division for thirty-two years, serving as Managing Director for many years and as Divisional Board Member for nine years. He is succeeded by Andreas Feichtinger and will join Ulrich Lausecker as Executive Director of Plansee SE / Plansee HPM Group.

Schretter, who will retire effective June 30, 2020, has worked for the Plansee Group for thirty-four years, including seven years in China and the USA, and was a member of the Executive Board of Plansee Holding AG for the last eighteen years.

Dr Michael Schwarzkopf, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, thanked Schretter for his long-standing support of the Plansee Group. He recognised Schretter as an exceptionally dedicated, loyal and entrepreneurially minded manager who proved valuable in shaping the long-term course of the Plansee Group, and wished him all the best for his new stage of life.

Schwarzkopf also wished the new Executive Board a successful working relationship for the sustainably profitable development of the Plansee Group.
