Organisers of Malaysian Powder Metallurgy Symposium issue call for papers

The 5th Powder Metallurgy Symposium

and Exhibition will take place in Kuala Lumpur

The Malaysian Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials Association has published a call for papers for the 5th Powder Metallurgy Symposium and Exhibition. Held this year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the two day event will take place December 14-15, 2011.

Organisers welcome paper submissions from local and international researchers and practitioners in the following research areas:

  • Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Powder Metallurgy
  • Ceramic and Hard Materials
  • Processing Technologies of Powder Metallurgy
  • Product Development of Powder Metallurgy
  • Modelling and Simulation of Powder Metallurgy Processes and Products
  • Testing/Quality Control/Process Control of Powder Metallurgy Products
  • Market and Applications of Powder Metallurgy

The deadline for submission of papers is June 15 and further details can be found on the event website below.

The conference will be run in conjunction with the inaugural Regional Conference on Automotive Research (ReCAR) and Advanced Processes and System in Manufacturing 2011 (APSIM).

The Malaysian Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials Association (MPM2A) was launched in 2009 during the 3rd Powder Metallurgy Symposium & Exhibition. The 2010 conference attracted some 150 delegates from Malaysia, Japan, India, Thailand and Turkey, and included a small exhibition showcasing the Malaysian PM and associated industries.
