NTN on display at Automechanika, Europe’s largest automotive aftermarket show

Japan’s NTN Corporation has announced plans to exhibit at this year’s Automechanika, the largest automotive aftermarket exhibition in Europe. Automechanika takes place in Frankurt, Germany, from 11th to 16th September 2012.
NTN produce a range of automotive components using Powder Metallurgy and other manufacturing processes. As reported in March 2012, the company has also developed an advanced manufacturing technology to produce sintered steel gears for automotive drivetrain and other applications, having a fatigue endurance limit of 300 MPA or higher.
On show at Automechanika will be NTN’s range of wheel bearings with sensors, engine timing belts, auxiliary boots, auto-tensioners, water pumps and other aftermarket products. NTN’s demonstration vehicle “Q’mo” equipped with a range of EV system products, will also be on stage conducting test drives, highlighting its special “Pivot turn” and “Lateral move” functionality.
