New laboratory furnaces from Linn High Therm
January 15, 2014
German furnace manufacturer Linn High Therm has introduced new furnaces to its range of laboratory equipment.
The company’s new VMK (up to 1800°C) and VMK-S/Vac (up to 1200°C) are for applications such as brazing, annealing, ashing, tempering, sintering, reducing, pyrolysis etc.
The furnaces feature stainless steel housings for corrosive environments, easy operation, fast heating and cooling cycles. Fibre insulation is used for lab and high temperature furnaces (VMK) and a heat resistant gas-tight muffle insert and a water cooled door flange enable protective gas and/or vacuum operation (VMK-Vac) in the protective gas/vacuum furnaces (VMK-S).
Linn High Therm employs over 100 people at its base in Eschenfelden. The company specialises in the production of industrial and lab furnaces, microwave furnaces, sample preparation units for spectroscopy, induction heating systems, precision fine casting systems and customer-specific systems.
