MPIF short course offers introduction to powder metallurgy industry

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) has announced dates and published the full programme for their popular ‘Basic PM Short Course’.

The three day course will be held at Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, State College, Pennsylvania from 18 – 20 July 2011, and offers a complete introduction to powder metallurgy from powder production to component design and testing.

The course is designed for anyone who is either new to the powder metallurgy industry or looking to broaden their knowledge of the technology. MPIF state that the course will not only appeal to engineers, designers and metallurgists, but also purchasing agents, managers and office personnel.
