MPIF reports the death of former Hoeganaes president, Ian White

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) has reported the death of Ian White, former president of Hoeganaes Corporation. 

According to the MPIF, White’s Powder Metallurgy career spanned over thirty years with Hoeganaes, which began in 1961 when he took on the role of manager of the high alloy plant.

White was appointed president of Hoeganaes Corporation in 1982 and remained in this position until his retirement in 1994. He was awarded the MPIF Distinguished Service to Powder Metallurgy Award in 2001.
