Dr Vladimir Moxson, President and CEO of ADMA Products Inc. based in Hudson, Ohio, was recently rewarded with an honoary PhD from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for his patented process for hydrogenated titanium powder production.

ADMA has been producing the high specification/low cost titanium powder since 2007 and is said to be in the process of scaling up production to meet increasing demand. The properties of PM components produced from the hydrogenated titanium powder are said to exceed the properties for Ti alloys in ASTM and the more stringent AMS and Military specifications but at a small fraction of the cost of the conventional ingot metallurgy process.
