MakerVerse adds Technology and Material Advisor to identify best options for Additive Manufacturing
May 14, 2024
MakerVerse, a leading platform for sourcing industrial parts headquartered in Berlin, Germany, has introduced its Technology and Material Advisor. The digital tool has been developed to help users identify the most suitable Additive Manufacturing technology and material choice, based on project needs.
With the free tool, designers can choose from more than twenty desired properties, such as high resolution, heat resistance, high yield strength, and more. After selecting the project requirements, the most suitable materials are shown for a range of Additive Manufacturing technologies.
“Tools like this can assist users in focusing on their core strengths, which is innovating and creating,” stated Dr Markus Seibold, CEO and co-founder of MakerVerse. “We aim to relieve users of time-consuming challenges so that they can concentrate on developing new solutions and products. We take care of everything else.”
The Technology and Material Advisor offers material suggestions for both metals and polymers. It also provides access to data sheets for each material, showing detailed properties for nearly forty different materials.
In order to help make manufacturing easier, MakerVerse has established a fully-vetted supply chain that offers access to a range of manufacturing technologies. These include CNC machining, injection molding, and many Additive Manufacturing methods. MakerVerse also offers engineering services to make the selection process easier, aiding with everything from design guidance to end-to-end production support.
