Korea Powder Material Association calls for awards submissions for its Autumn Conference

The Korea Powder Materials Association (KPMA) has issued a call for submissions for the awards scheduled to be presented at its 2022 Autumn Conference, which will take place on November 17, 2022.

Beom Gu Award

Submissions to this award are invited from students in the course of a doctoral degree in the field of powder material science. Applicants should come from within the KPMA membership. The winner will be awarded KRW 2 million. The application deadline is August 10.

Technology Award

Submissions to this award are invited from member companies with technology applicable to the Powder Metallurgy industry. Four winners will be awarded KRW 500,000. The application deadline is August 10.

Shinhan Diamond Excellent Paper Award (Oral)

This prize is supported by Shinhan Diamond Industrial Co, Ltd. Submissions are invited from students who have submitted their papers to the conference and agree to publish their thesis in the journal of the KPMA. Two winners will be awarded a certificate and KRW 200,000. The application deadline is August 31.

Yongin Electronics Talent Award

Submissions to this award are invited from students pursuing their master’s or doctoral degrees and are limited to those with a KPMA membership. One winner will be selected from each of the degree pools. Each winner will receive KRW 1 million.

Winners from all categories will be announced November 17, 2022.
