Alvier AG PM-Technology, a Swiss-based Powder Metallurgy tooling manufacturer, has announced that Jochen Prätz, who joined the company in December 2020, is its new Director of Sales & Marketing. He will be the first point of contact for Alvier customers.
With over fifteen years’ experience in B2B sales, Prätz has worked with Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry for some ten years. From this, he is said to have close contacts to OEMs in Europe, Asia and North America.
Founded over thirty years ago in Buchs, Switzerland, Alvier was acquired by Sweden’s Höganäs AB in 2018. The company’s client base reaches across four continents, with customers in more than twenty countries.
Alvier is highly experienced in the production of all types and designs of press and sizing tools, producing systems for complex, multi-level sintered parts such as synchroniser hubs, belt drive pulleys, sprockets or camshaft adjusters. Also known for its development of helical gear systems, the company offers a wide range of services to the Powder Metallurgy industry.
