International Titanium Powder Processing, Consolidation and Metallurgy Conference Call for Papers

Organisers of the International Titanium Powder Processing, Consolidation and Metallurgy Conference, taking place 2-4 December 2013 in Hamilton, New Zealand, have issued a Call for Papers for both oral and poster presentations.
Following on from the success of the inaugural conference, hosted by the University of Queensland, Australia in December 2011, the this year’s conference will take place at the Titanium Industry Development Association (TiDA) in New Zealand.
This conference will focus on Ti Powder and processing, consolidation processes, alloy development and applications. The conference has support from the majority of the international Powder Metallurgy associations in both the Asia Pacific Region, Europe, the Americas and Africa, and will attract over 100 research and commercial leaders in the Titanium industry, both internationally and locally.
The Conference schedule will promote new initiatives within the industry and enable many international networking opportunities. The program will feature international keynote presentations from leading Titanium Powder research facilities, academics and leaders in the manufacturing processes.
The University of Waikato, based on the Hamilton Campus is centrally located in New Zealand and is within one hour drive from Auckland International Airport.
