ICONSAT – International Conference on Nano Science and Technology scheduled for January 2012

Organisers of the International Conference on Nano science and Technology (ICONSAT-2012) have announced that the event will be held in Hyderabad, India, from January 20-23, 2012.
The conference, organised by International Advanced Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad lists the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India is the official sponsor of the event.
Organisers state that the aim of this conference is to advance theory, practice, collection and applications of geospatial data, and promote an active exchange of information, ideas, and technological innovations in the area of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The Nano Mission launched by DST in May 2007 has been mainspring for catalyzing a dramatic increase in nano-based R&D activities in national laboratories and academic institutions in India.
