Hunter Chemical supplies nickel powder for the powder metallurgy industry
February 2, 2011
Hunter Chemical LLC, headquartered in Pennsylvania, USA recently announced the availability of its nickel powder Grade AH50. AH50 is processed with the specific purity, morphology and particle size distribution needs of the Powder Metallurgy (PM) industry in mind.
Hunter Chemical LLC is an ISO9001:2008 certified supplier of nickel, cobalt and chrome raw materials. The company maintains direct relationships with the world’s primary producers of raw materials so it can offer competitive prices for finished products that meet PM and other applications.
Ben Brock, President of Hunter Chemical said, “We are pleased to provide another option for PM part producers. Many companies still have in-house powder blending operations or need to supplement with pure nickel from time to time. Our customers have learned from last year not to rely on one supply stream.”
Grade AH50 is produced through a carbonyl process and is spherically shaped with a spiky morphology. Raw material is processed and tightly monitored to achieve a particle size distribution of of 3-6 microns (FSSS). The company also offers free particle size analysis for metal powders to its customers.
