The guide, which is the first in a series on selecting PM materials, lists what factors should be considered before constructing a PM part:

  • Corrosion resistance
  • Hardness
  • Tensile strength
  • Impact toughness
  • Fatigue strength

The guide also covers ‘Materials and Their Qualities’, breaking down the properties and advantages/disadvantages of the following materials:

  • Stainless steel
  • Copper
  • Nickel
  • Aluminium
  • Titanium

The guide is accessible via the company’s website or by clicking here.
