Höganäs receives recommendation for recertification to ISO 14001:2015, upgrade to ISO 45001:2018

Höganäs AB’s Environmental and Safety Management System audit was recently completed in North America, and as a result the company has been recommended for recertification to ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental), and upgraded to ISO 45001:2018 (Safety).
ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system, while ISO 45001 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and enables organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces.
Höganäs stated that an engaged workforce, its adaption to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and maturity of its management system processes were some of the strengths noted during its audit process.
