Swedish metal powder producer Höganäs AB, in conjunction with Turkish PM component producer Toz Metal Industry and Trade Inc. (Tozmetal) recently organised a three day Powder Metallurgy School in Istanbul, Turkey.

The school covered Powder Metallurgy basics such as material science, compaction techniques and sintering processes, providing a mix of theory and practical exercises. The event proved unique in that participants not only came from Tozmetal, but also from the company’s competitors who are customers of Höganäs.

“We are happy that Höganäs AB and Tozmetal together can strengthen the PM industry in Turkey,” stated Husnu Özdural, CEO of Tozmetal. “Hopefully we can run this kind of training more frequently.”

The PM School attracted 18 participants
