GKN’s Nagar plant recognised for health & safety

GKN Sinter Metals’ Nagar Plant, located in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India, has been recognised for its contribution to enhanced safety awareness, both within its plant and local industries. The award was co-presented by India’s government department DISH (Directorate Industrial Safety and Health) and local industrial group MARG (Mutual Aid Response Group).
GKN Sinter Metals is an established supplier to automotive customers in India. GKN India produces main bearing caps, pulleys, sprockets, synchroniser hubs, pump components, bearings – bronze and iron, valve guides, valve seat inserts and shock absorber components like pistons, base valves, rod guides, shoulder nuts and rib retainers.
The Powder Metallurgy facility in Ahmednagar serves the automotive sector as well as other non-automotive business.
