GKN Sinter Metals India receives two Honda Supplier Performance awards

The GKN Sinter Metals India team has received two Supplier Performance awards from Honda Siel Power Products LTD for the team’s performance throughout 2020. The awards recognised the team for its ‘Long Association of Outstanding Performance’ and ‘Excellence in Best Practices’.
GKN Sinter Metals is an established supplier to automotive customers in India. GKN India produces main bearing caps, pulleys, sprockets, synchroniser hubs, pump components, bearings – bronze and iron, valve guides, valve seat inserts and shock absorber components like pistons, base valves, rod guides, shoulder nuts and rib retainers.
With forming press capacity from 15–500T, the GKN India team has capabilities in heat treatment, sinter hardening, induction hardening, high-temperature sintering, cryogenic and steam treatment. Each plant also has a separate in-house dedicated tool room to provide high quality and fast development.
