Gasbarre introduces new generation hydraulic press

A new generation of hydraulic powder compacting press has been developed by Gasbarre, headquartered in DuBois, Pennsylvania, USA. The new press design is said to include a number of updates and improvements over the company’s existing machines.
The company has been building mechanical, electrical and hydraulic presses for nearly fifty years. It also builds a wide range of furnaces and manufactures tooling specifically for the Powder Metallurgy sector.
The Gasbarre team is reported to have spent countless hours working through all aspects of its hydraulic press, developing a system that will meet and exceed its customers’ needs today and well into the future.
The new press architecture includes changes to surround guarding to improve press operation and maintenance, updates to the hydraulic system, shorter cycle times and higher throughput providing an improved ROI for customers.
