Freeman makes educational introduction to powders available in German

March 6, 2020

Freeman Technology, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, UK, has made its educational guide An Introduction to Powders available in German. The company previously previously released translations in Chinese and Japanese.

The guide was written in English by Tim Freeman, Managing Director of Freeman Technology, and focuses on how the three components of powder – the particles, surrounding air and any moisture present – interact to define powder behaviour, providing answers to some of the most frequently encountered powder processing issues.

Freeman Technology states that the guide provides a valuable foundation for those with little knowledge of powders, as well as being a useful resource for anyone looking to expand their understanding of the factors relevant to product development and processing performance.

In addition to detailing the mechanisms that define powder behaviour, the guide explores the importance of powder flowability across a range of industrial processes. It also explains the significance of operational conditions in the context of powder processing, and highlights direct correlations between dynamic powder properties and process performance.

The translated guide is available to download via the company’s website.
