European PM association appoints new technical director

ocThe European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has appointed Dr Olivier Coube (pictured) as its next Technical Director. Dr Coube, a French national aged 37, was previously employed by Plansee AG in Austria and the Fraunhofer Institute IWM in Freiburg, Germany. He took up his full time position on 1 March 2007. Jonathan Wroe EPMA Executive Director said ‘Dr Coube will then have a two month hand-over period with our current Technical Director Peter Brewin, who will retire on 30th April. The EPMA Council and Secretariat are looking forward to working with Dr Coube, who has been involved in the association’s activities over a number of years.’
