European Hard Materials Group’s WINTEREV seminar set for December

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has announced that its next WINTEREV hard materials seminar will take place December 10 – 11 at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) based in Teddington, UK. The WINTEREV meetings, organised by the EPMA’s European Hard Materials Group (EuroHM), aim to bring together experts for in-depth discussion of technical issues at a precompetitive level.
This year’s meeting will provide a thematic approach to hard material evaluation, looking at fusion energy applications, effects of radiation, modelling and mapping, as well as looking at coating technologies, thermodynamics and processing low metal carbides.
The event will provide networking opportunities, including a group dinner on the Tuesday evening.
