EPMA’s virtual Functional Materials 2021 seminar to take place in June
March 23, 2021
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA)’s 2021 Functional Materials seminar is set to take place in a virtual capacity for 2021. The seminar will be held June 1–2, 2021, in collaboration with the Ceit-IK4 research centre based in San Sebastián, Spain.
The ever-increasing need for greener energy production and distribution may boost functional materials as a key field where Europe must invest and innovate to improve efficiency, with consequent advantages in terms of environmental impact at all levels. The EPMA advises participation for all researchers and engineers interested in the development, production and use of these powder-based materials.
An international panel of speakers will cover many powder-based functional materials used in the energy sector, including: hard magnets, materials for thermal management, and hydrogen production, as well as magnetocaloric, thermoelectric, energy storage and high-temperature materials.
Further information is available via the seminar’s website.
