Registration is now open for the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA)’s Young Engineers Day 2022. The event will take place October 10–11 in Lyon, France, alongside the World PM2022 Congress & Exhibition.

Aimed at helping to foster and develop the next generation of PM academics and industrialists, the programme includes lectures on Powder Metallurgy, a networking dinner, a tour of the exhibition and a site visit at INSA Lyon (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées).

Introduced by the EPMA in 2014, the Young Engineers Day is aimed particularly at those studying a subject related to PM, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering, and Business Administration and Engineering.

The programme includes:

  • Introduction to PM
  • PM Materials
  • PM Production Routes
  • Applications for PM Products

Those interested can register here. Registration is free of charge, but a €60 deposit is required to guarantee the reservation.
