As part of its series of Powder Metallurgy Structural Parts seminars, the EPMA is set to hold a ‘Systematic Approach to Quality Management in PM’ seminar in Seville, Spain, May 17-18, 2018. The seminar will focus on processes for PM structural parts, but the organisers state that most of the presented approaches will also be applicable to other sectors.

The seminar will focus on such aspects as quality requirements in fast changing environments, quality systems and related standards, techniques for continuous improvements and basic metrology. The EPMA states that the course will be most beneficial to technical and managerial personnel, as well as end users looking to gain a more comprehensive understanding of quality in the PM process.

Seminar registration closes on April 11, 2018. Participants will also have the option to tour the copper mining, extraction and refining site of First Quantum Minerals, Las Cruces.
