Deadline nearing for EPMA Functional Materials Seminar speakers

November 24, 2021

The deadline is nearing for those interested in speaking at the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA)’s 2022 Functional Materials Seminar which is scheduled to take place in San Sebastian, Spain, on February 22–23. The seminar will be primarily devoted to materials central to the move towards sustainability goals of the EU Green Deal: PM magnets, bulk metallic glasses, and extreme-application materials.

In addition to the lectures, the seminar will also feature an interactive session in which participants can share their views on ‘Functional Materials and Sustainability’. It is anticipated that this session will give everyone the opportunity to contribute in order to highlight priorities, possible developments and applications.

The seminar will take place as both in person and online. Interested speakers are invited to submit their title and abstract by November 30, 2021.

Wider registration is not yet open. For further information, visit the EPMA website.
