Plansee has announced dates for the 19th Plansee Seminar, which will take place at the company’s headquarters in Reutte, Austria, from May 29 – June 2, 2017.

Since its beginnings in 1952, the Plansee Seminar has been regarded as a global forum for the technical and scientific PM community to exchange ideas and keep up to date with the latest innovations and market trends in the field of refractory metals and hard materials.

The conference will provide an opportunity to gain insights into all aspects of this important class of materials, from materials science to the latest achievements in extractive metallurgy, manufacturing technology, industrial applications and recycling.

A ‘Call for Papers’ will be distributed in April 2016.
