Dieffenbacher GmbH, Eppingen, Germany, has announced the sale of its isostatic press business to Cremer Thermoprozessanlagen GmbH, Düren, Germany.

The sale allows Dieffenbacher to concentrate on the press lines for the production of fibre-reinforced composites where, the company states, it has its main competency and strong market position.

Cremer manufactures a wide range of industrial furnace equipment for use in the Powder Metallurgy industry. By acquisition of the know-how and intellectual property, as well as the spare parts and service sections of Dieffenbacher, Cremer is extending its portfolio by manufacturing isostatic presses. The sale will also ensure a reliable after sales service for users of existing equipment.
