With around 16,500 trade visitors from 102 countries CERAMITEC 2012, which took place in Munich, Germany, 22-25 May 2012, was hailed as a success by both organisers and exhibitors. This positive sentiment was supported by a rise in visitor numbers of 13% compared to the last event, held in 2009.

The exhibition, which featured numerous suppliers of production equipment for Powder Metallurgy (PM) as well as materials and production technology for Powder Injection Moulding (PIM), attracted a diverse international audience.

The organisers stated that the “Top Ten” countries of origin for visitors, excluding Germany, were Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, France, UK, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland and Brazil. A total of 613 exhibitors from 42 countries took part in the exhibition.

The next CERAMITEC takes place from October 20 to 23, 2015.
