Call for papers issued for PMAI's International Conference on PM and Particulate Materials 2020
PMAI’s International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials & Exhibition 2020 (PM20) will take place at The Lalit Mumbai, India (Courtesy The Lalit Mumbai)

The Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI) has issued a Call for Papers for its International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials & Exhibition 2020 (PM20), which will take place at the Lalit Mumbai, Mumbai, India, from February 19-21, 2020.

The three-day event will once again combine a technical programme and an international trade exhibition as well as the 46th Annual Technical Meeting of PMAI. Abstracts are invited for submission across the following topics:

  • Materials & alloy development
  • Powder production & characterisation
  • Compaction & other forming processes
  • Compaction equipment
  • Sintering & sintering equipment
  • Hardmetals
  • Diamond tools
  • Refractory metals
  • Ceramics & composites
  • Modelling of PM parts & processes
  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Testing & evaluation of PM parts
  • Health, safety & environment
  • Materials for alternative energy generation
  • Laser sintering, cladding and coating
  • Medical applications
  • PIM (MIM & CIM) technology
  • PM factory automation
  • Magnetic materials, SMC & hard magnets
  • Materials for aerospace, defence & nuclear apps

The submissions deadline for abstracts is January 3, 2020. Further information and submission guidelines are available via the event website.
