Buehler ITW Test & Measurement GmbH has announced the opening of its new laboratory in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. The company plans to host an open week May 2–6, 2022, where it will demonstrate the potential for solving specific tasks in quality assurance ad materials science.

This open week is expected to give visitors from industry, research and education the opportunity to experience Buehler’s technology for the preparation of metallographic samples and observe the latest generation of hardness testers in practical use.

Visitors are also able to bring material samples to find out, together with Buehler’s specialists, which preparation technique is the most appropriate for them.

“An added plus for visitors is the fact that the international Control trade fair will take place simultaneously in the nearby Trade Fair Centre,” stated Dr Lutz Werner, Business Unit Manager for EMEA of Buehler ITW Test & Measurement. “Thus, they can attend both events with hardly any additional travel expense.”

While Buehler itself will be represented at the international Control trade fair for quality assurance, the open week is expected to fulfil a similar purpose while offering visitors a more personal experience in a control environment.

Those interested can register here and choose a preferred date and time for their visit.
