Brazil to host PTECH 2015 International Latin American Conference on Powder Technology

PTECH 2015, the Tenth International Latin American Conference on Powder Technology, will be held November 8 – 11 in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The three day all topic conference is coordinated by an International Committee and supported by Brazil’s Institute for Energetic and Nuclear Research (Instituto de Pesquisas Energérticas e Nucleares – IPEN).

The event will feature both oral and poster presentations, as well as a keynote lecture from Prof Dr Henning Zoz, CEO & President of Zoz Group, who will focus on innovation in materials and processes  with a look at how to change a good idea into a good product.

Further plenary presentations include papers on spray forming, Powder Injection Moulding, metal Additive Manufacturing, X-ray analysis of powders, intermetallic powders and Brazil’s Senai Innovation Institute.
