ASCO Sintering to showcase its award winning Powder Metallurgy gears at Gear Expo 2017

ASCO received the MPIF Grand Prize Award in 2015 for its sinter-hardened steel planetary gear system

ASCO Sintering Co., Commerce, California, USA, will exhibit its award-winning Powder Metallurgy gears at Gear Expo 2017, to be held from October 24-26, 2017, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Gear Expo is sponsored by the American Gear Manufacturers Association and includes educational courses, seminars and showcases manufacturing and technology trends and innovations.

“ASCO’s participation in Gear Expo helps reinforce our position as an acknowledged industry leader in the manufacture of award-winning highly complex powdered metal gears and planetary gear carriers through the application of a six sigma zero-defect philosophy,” stated the company. ASCO received the MPIF Grand Prize Award in the Medical/Dental Category in 2015 for its sinter-hardened steel planetary gear system, featuring a carrier with an integrated sun gear and three planetary gears.

The company’s latest PM gears will be on display at Booth 207 in Exhibit Hall E, with sales and engineering management staff in attendance to discuss their design and application.
