AMETEK to showcase its range of speciality metal powders at POWDERMET2019

AMETEK Specialty Metal Products (SMP), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA, will present its atomised metal and titanium powders at POWDERMET2019,  the International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, June 23–26, 2019. At the company’s booth, teams from AMETEK SMP Eighty Four and Reading Alloys will reportedly present a range of custom-made, speciality alloy powders used across several industry sectors.

Water atomised powders from AMETEK SMP Eighty Four include materials for Powder Metallurgy, Metal Injection Moulding (MIM), surface coating, fine powders, flakes, and sintered filter-grade powders. Reading Alloys produces high-purity titanium powders for PM, thermal spray/medical orthopaedic implants to promote osseointegration, sputtering targets and Advanced Coating Alloys Al/Cr, Al/Co, CODEP. Titanium alloys include CP Ti, magnesium and sodium reduced Ti sponge and Ti 6Al-4V.
