Air Products to showcase its range of Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing products at POWDERMET 2015

Air Products offers a range of industrial gases, equipment, and technology solutions for both the Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing sectors. The company has announced it will be highlighting its new equipment and technology solutions, as well as consulting services in the area of controlled atmospheres, at POWDERMET2015 in San Diego, USA, May 18-19, 2015.

Visitors to the show are invited to visit the company’s booth (#211) to speak with specialists about the challenges they face in their day to day operations. Air Products’ technical specialists will be providing applications knowledge in a variety of processes, including powder production, sintering, heat treating and Additive Manufacturing.

In addition, Air Products operates R&D laboratories in Allentown, Pa., where it can perform furnace testing, as well as cryogenic treatments for simulating, troubleshooting, and optimizing customer operations. Frequently used work tools include metallurgical examinations, atmosphere analyses, thermodynamic equilibrium and diffusional calculations, as well as computational fluid dynamics modelling.
