1st quarter 2013 PM production in China sees gain

According to statistics published by the China Machine Powder Metallurgy Association (CMPMA) the first quarter of 2013 has seen a revival of growth after a disappointing 2012 when PM production for the whole year output fell by 2.7%.

The first quarter showed a gain of 4.5% in PM production to 40,041 tonnes having a sales value of Yuan 1.397 million (US$ 228 million), an increase of 6.9% compared with the same period in 2012.

The report states that these figures are based on the response from 47 Chinese PM enterprises.
