10th International Conference on the Science of Hard Materials call for papers

A call for papers has been issued by the organisers of the 10th International Conference on the Science of Hard Materials (ICSHM10), March 10 – 14, 2014, Cancun, Mexico.

As with the previous nine conferences, the aim of ICSHM10 will be to provide an interdisciplinary forum for presentation, discussion and exchange of modelling, experimental and applied concepts that contribute to the advancement of Hard Materials.

ICSHM10 will take place in Cancun, Mexico 

Sessions will be divided into the following topics:

  • Fundamental Aspects
  • Advanced Characterisation
  • Structure/Property Correlations
  • Processing Technology
  • Simulation and Modelling
  • Cemented Carbides (Hardmetals – Cermets)
  • Ceramics and Composites
  • Super-Hard Materials
  • Surface Modification
  • Technical Innovations

Preliminary abstracts of no more than 250 words should be submitted electronically before October 1st, 2013. Authors will be notified as to the acceptance of their abstracts by December 15th, 2013.
